True Friendship

Posted by in Poems

Here comes my poem about true friendship, hope you’ll like it! 🙂 True Friendship What’s the meaning of a true friend For me that’s someone who is always there for you Someone that lifts you up when you are down Someone that makes the tears stop rolling down your cheeks and put a smile on your face instead Someone who are there for you through bad times and makes those times feel less scary and lonely Someone who are there for you through good times to share your laughter with…read more

Air Pollution is Harmful

Posted by in Opinion

I have been wondering about a thing since it’s this time of the year again when it’s Motor Week in the small town where I live. It comes a lot of people here during this week who throw garbage everywhere and they also smash a lot of booze bottles on the ground. During the nights, they drink a lot of alcohol and play loud music that disturbs people that have to go to work the following day because they play until the late hours. And when the music stops playing…read more

We Should Open Our Hearts

Posted by in Animals

It’s just over a year until it’s election here in Sweden and when that day comes I hope that people open their hearts by showing compassion for animals. Because about 90 million animals that live on land get killed in the slaughterhouses here in Sweden every year, and the Swedish fish industry kills hundreds of millions of creatures who live in water every year. 15 000 tiny baby boys get minced alive every day Other cruel examples of what happens to animals in Sweden is that 1.25 million broody hens are…read more

How We Saved Tru Calling

Posted by in Animals

One day in the beginning of June, when the birds were singing and the sun was shining, we turned our cows and calves out to pasture. We expected it to be a calm and joyful day since all of us loved to see our cattle run around after the long winter which they spend in the barn. Even my big sister had come home that day with her little girl to share the cheerful moment. Everything went well when we let the old cows out from the cement and timber…read more

Monday of the Holy Spirit

Posted by in Vegan lifestyle

Today it’s Penecost Monday/ Whit Monday but it can also be called Monday of the Holy Spirit. To me, it seems like Pentecost/ Whitsunday was celebrated more here in Sweden when I was a kid growing up than nowadays. This day was even a red day back then but now it stopped being that for over a decade ago. Christians celebrate the Holy Spirit during Pentecost/ Whitsunday, it’s in memory of when the Holy Spirit came down upon the apostles. It’s also the birthday of the church. The Dove is…read more
