If you have ever loved somebody then maybe you recognize yourself in my poem because it is about how you feel when your loved one is no longer with you. This is my way to honor all my loved ones in heaven.

But I know that’s not the case

breathe next to me

your beautiful, warm, wise, kind eyes

so I could give you a hug

What I wouldn’t give to feel your body
feel your body in my arms again
Because it made me feel safe and happy
to feel your heartbeat

But I know you’re walking on clouds now
that you’re fine among the angels
I know that I have to wait until we can meet
I know you’ll be there waiting when I see the light
I guess everything happens for a reason
but why you had to die I will never understand
I know that I must keep on living

since you’re no longer by my side

There are different kinds of loves
the love I felt for you are that special one
that kind of love that never dies
That kind of love that goes far beyond worlds
because it’s so pure and powerful
That kind of love doesn’t last for a lifetime

It keeps living in your heart
even when your darling is gone
gone to another world
